Performs tasks related to the manufacturing and distribution (as needed) duties for the management of whole blood and blood components, in compliance with OneBlood standard operating procedures.   Position Schedule: Candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule with an 8-hour shift scheduled between the hours of 4:00pm - 4:00am any day of the week including weekends. This is a full-time position and candidates are generally scheduled five (5) 8-hour shifts per week.  

Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to the collection staff during blood drives or at branches. Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of blood and/or blood components from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards. If assigned to mobiles, responsible for driving the blood mobile.

Partners with Collections, Recruitment, Manufacturing, Quality, and operational leadership teams to design, implement, validate, and sustain improvements that enhance donor experience, operational efficiency, product utilization, and blood supply alignment across the organization. Contacts by telephone and other approved communication methods (emails, text, flyers) eligible blood donors who have previously given blood and re-recruits them to donate regularly while also meeting the team measurements each month.  Candidate will work 3:00pm - 8:00pm most nights and Saturday 9:00 - 5:30pm.
