Provides first point of contact for all Donors and internal department regarding regulated inquires, collection process issues and requests related to SOP questions. Provides timely document review, tracks errors and offers solutions for Donor Services processes. Acts as a liaison to resolve internal processing errors and delivers outstanding internal customer service.
Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to the collection staff during blood drives or at branches. Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of blood and/or blood components from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards. If assigned to mobiles, responsible for driving the blood mobile.
Performs basic through advanced testing procedures on patient and/or donor samples and interprets results in accordance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies and procedures.
