Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of whole blood (and/or blood components) from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards.
Contacts by telephone and other approved communication methods (emails, text, flyers) eligible blood donors who have previously given blood and re-recruits them to donate regularly while also meeting the team measurements each month. Candidate will work 8:30am - 5:00pm and each Saturday 9:00 - 5:30.
Candidate will work in several systems scheduling donors on OneBlood Concierge Van service. Working within a small team and having strong communication skills is essential. This position requires someone who can schedule a large number of donors is organized and able to adapt to business needs while also converting whole blood donors to platelets throughout the month. Schedule includes working every Saturday 9:00 - 5:30.
