Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of whole blood (and/or blood components) from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards.
Performs tasks related to the manufacturing and distribution (as needed) duties for the management of whole blood and blood components, in compliance with OneBlood standard operating procedures.
Position Schedule: This is a full-time position that will work 7:00 am - 3:30 PM Wednesday to Sunday. Flexibility is required.
Training Schedule: Candidate must be available to attend training Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm for a period of 3-4 weeks.
(Based upon when hours are worked positions may include a shift and weekend differential of $1.50 - $4.50 per hour.)
Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to the collection staff during blood drives or at branches. Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of blood and/or blood components from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards. If assigned to mobiles, responsible for driving the blood mobile.

Supervises the phlebotomy of blood donors in a defined collection area.

Recruits potential blood donors at promotional, community, and corporate blood drives to ensure a drive meets its desired projection.
