Candidate will need to be comfortable talking to donors on the phone and scheduling an appointment for them to return and donate while working part time hours. POSITION SCHEDULE: Mon - Thurs 3PM-8PM, Fri 2PM - 7PM, and Sat 9AM-5:30PM. Sunday OFF and a weekday of your choice.

Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of whole blood (and/or blood components) from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards.
Provides leadership, instruction, and guidance to the collection staff during blood drives or at branches. Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of blood and/or blood components from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards. If assigned to mobiles, responsible for driving the blood mobile.

Responsible for Donor Services quality assurance and quality control functions in specific collection areas.
Reviews donor adverse events for appropriate documentation, follow-up and metrics. Provides counseling to donors or patients regarding test results and/or assists Donor Services department with donor eligibility issues.
