EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Data
Analytics, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of
experience in business intelligence, dashboard development, data analytics, SQL
development, or reporting solutions; including requirements gathering, stakeholder
collaboration, and delivery of data-driven insights; or an equivalent combination of
education, certification, training, and/or experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:
Business Intelligence and data visualization certifications (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or
similar platforms) preferred. SQL, data analytics, or data management certifications are a
plus. Project Management certifications (e.g., CAPM or PMP) and Business Analysis
certifications (e.g., CBAP) are desirable.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and data
visualizations that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases to extract, transform, validate, and
analyze data from multiple sources.
• Working knowledge of medallion architecture methodology, data modeling principles,
reporting best practices, and data governance standards.
• Ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into scalable
reporting and analytical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying statistical
techniques (e.g., trend analysis, regression, hypothesis testing) to interpret complex
datasets and generate actionable business insights.
Ability to communicate analytical findings and technical concepts clearly to nontechnical
stakeholders through presentations, dashboards, and written reports.
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend data-driven
solutions.
• Ability to work independently while building effective, collaborative relationships and
influencing stakeholders across departments
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an
employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Ability to exert
light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying,
pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds).
