Warehouse Mobile Staging Attendant

Provides support to the collections operation by performing set-up activities of supplies and equipment at fixed sites or mobiles. Performs drive support activities as needed.

• Performs set-up activities of supplies and equipment at fixed sites or mobilesLoads and unloads trucks and other vehicles
• Organizes and maintains up-to-date records of inventories
• Handles and stores hazardous material inventory in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Drives blood collection vehicles to transport required supplies, equipment, blood products and staff to and from mobile sites.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous truck driving experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

Florida class B CDL driver’s license and good driving record required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
• Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to meet physical requirements of position

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

Functions involve the periodic performance of moderately physically demanding work, usually involving lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (up to 50 pounds). Tasks that require moving objects of significant weight require the assistance of another person and/or use of proper techniques and moving equipment. Tasks involve climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. 

Functions are regularly performed inside and/or outside with potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. Employee will experience close/small work spaces on mobile unit buses. Vibration and motion are common on mobile unit buses.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
