Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of whole blood (and/or blood components) from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards.
Under the direction of the Manager or designee, provides leadership and technical expertise, coordinates workflow, manages staff scheduling and payroll functions, and performs training and quality activities. Ensures that testing is completed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies and procedures. Has responsibility for oversight of staff. Performs the essential functions of the Medical Technologist.
Performs tasks related to the manufacturing and distribution (as needed) duties for the management of whole blood and blood components, in compliance with OneBlood standard operating procedures.

Performs routine unregulated laboratory tasks as directed.
Shift: This full-time position will work Monday - Friday on 2nd shift, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, with rotating holidays.

Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of blood and/or blood components from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards. If assigned to mobiles, responsible for driving the blood mobile.
Oversees a specific collection area’s donor services operations in accordance with the blood center’s goals of collecting blood and apheresis blood components from volunteer blood donors.

Position Schedule: This is a full-time position and candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule with an 8 hour shift scheduled between the hours of 6:00am - 6:00am
