Manages the day-to-day activities in laboratories including the testing performed. Manages staff scheduling and performs training and quality activities. Has responsibility for performance, interpretation, recording of tests and accurate, timely reporting of results and issuance of blood from the laboratories. May serve as the designated laboratory general supervisor.
Contacts by telephone and other approved communication methods (emails, text, flyers) eligible blood donors who have previously given blood and re-recruits them to donate regularly while also meeting the team measurements each month. Candidate will work 3:00pm - 8:00pm most nights and Saturday 9:00 - 5:30pm.
Performs routine unregulated laboratory tasks as directed.
Work Schedule: This full-time position will work on 3rd shift, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am, 5 days a week to include rotating weekends and holidays, as needed.
Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of whole blood (and/or blood components) from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards.

If assigned to mobiles, responsible for driving the blood mobile.

Provides exceptional customer service to donors via phone, e-mail, live chat or text regarding a question or concern, striving to meet each donor’s need in a prompt time frame. Utilizes Customer Care software systems to update specific account information for each applicable donor prior to completing a case and reaching daily goals.

Performs basic through advanced testing procedures on patient and/or donor samples and interprets results in accordance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies and procedures.
Schedule: This full-time position will work on 3rd shift, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am, 5 days a week to include rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsible for operating a multi-line phone system answering inbound phone calls. Routes callers to correct department or individual. Candidate will need to be have strong multi-task skills as they will be greeting all guests and staff as well as working online assisting donors with their questions/concerns while meeting the goals of the department. The hours for this position is 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday.
