Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of whole blood (and/or blood components) from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards.

Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, and the Manager or Director Nursing, has the responsibility to perform clinical apheresis procedures.

Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures and processes related to the collection of whole blood (and/or blood components) from donors according to the organization’s policies and procedures, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standards.

Recruits potential blood donors at promotional, community, and corporate blood drives to ensure a drive meets its desired projection.

Performs routine unregulated laboratory tasks as directed.   Work Schedule: This full-time position will work 5 days a week on 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) to include rotating weekends and holidays. Potential for 10 hour shifts.
