Overview

Responsible for implementing marketing campaigns that promote and enhance brand awareness and support existing business objectives within the digital space. Utilizes new digital technologies and analytics tools to assist in the optimization and analysis of marketing campaigns and display and search advertising.

  • Implements strategies to drive online traffic to the company website
  • Creates digital marketing campaigns utilizing a range of channels, including paid search, SEO, PPC, and social media
  • Generates digital marketing reports and reviews the data
  • Utilizes new technologies to successfully and efficiently implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns
  • Tracks social media advertising performance and provides recommendations for improved ROI
  • Ensures consistent communication across social platforms, including the cross-department training of social media communications and best practices
  • Assists with special projects or urgent marketing requests as needed.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field and two (2) years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience. Experience utilizing social media management programs and content management systems. Working knowledge of digital marketing concepts and best practices.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

None

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong written, presentation and communication skills
  • Some knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
  • Strong project management skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Ability to commute with personal transportation
  • Ability to travel as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Functions involve the ability to exert light physical effort usually involving some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds). May involve some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking or standing.

Functions are regularly performed inside without potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
