Shift: Monday thru Friday, day shift, rotate weekends, holidays and branches. Must be flexible to work mid shift and occasional other shifts, as needed.
Under the direction of the Manager or designee, provides leadership and technical expertise, coordinates workflow, manages staff scheduling and performs training and quality activities. Ensures that testing is completed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies and procedures. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a biological science or related field from an accredited college or university. Three (3) or more years in a clinical laboratory, preferably blood banking, environment or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Two (2) years’ experience in a OneBlood laboratory
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:
In Florida, a valid and current Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in Immunohematology or Blood Banking; supervisor license preferred. In certain specialty laboratories other Florida licenses may be required. If working in a state without laboratory personnel licensure requirements, must meet current CLIA requirements for high complexity testing

Ability to periodically perform moderately physically demanding work, usually involving lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling moderately heavy objects and materials (up to 50 pounds). Tasks that require moving objects of significant weight require the assistance of another person and/or use of proper techniques and moving equipment. Tasks may involve some climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling or prolonged sitting or standing.
