Leads a team comprised of professional staff with experience in business system development, support, maintenance, database administration, and project management with a mission to achieve high levels of system availability, security and client service in order to maintain the organization’s objectives and competitive position in the marketplace.

  • Directs the team that develops, implements, upgrades and maintains the organization’s business systems
  • Develops policies and procedures surrounding the administrative system and the respective data including support, quality, and security
  • Oversees administrative application customer support, training and documentation including database, queries, interfaces and vendor-partnered 3rd party applications
  • Analyzes feasibility and assesses risk of proposals considering costs, time limitations, planning, and other technical and economical factors
  • Serves as project manager and/or team member as needed on various business and quality applications systems projects
  • Works closely with organization leaders to identify and deliver effective and efficient administrative technology processes and systems
  • Proposes direction for future growth and development of the organization’s administrative database and computer applications
  • Participates in the budget development and fiscal integrity of the department.

Bachelor's degree in a computer related field from an accredited college or university; supplemented by ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible related experience including at least three (3) years of supervisory or management experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. 






  • Ability to formulate, initiate, and administer policies and procedures for effective fiscal control
  • Ability to develop and interpret budgets, contracts, and financial reports
  • Ability to organize work for timely completion
  • Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to delegate, manage and supervise effectively
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Skill in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Ability to commute with personal transportation.



The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds).
